Bass Fishing Tournaments

We promote a "family-friendly" atmosphere; this allows all team formats to participate, singles, two-person teams, husband/wife and parent/child to experience competitive angling, while learning good sportsmanship. We offer free membership to the Youth under the age of 18 before August 31 of every season in either the U.S.A BASSIN Team Trail or the U.S.A BASSIN Next Generation Trail. We offer low membership fees of $25.00 per adult that includes the right to fish any U.S.A. BASSIN tournament for that season’s year. Entry fees start at $25.00 for a weeknight, and $50.00 for a weekend tournament per boat/team. This makes U.S.A. BASSIN very affordable and fun for everyone!

America's Best Team Trail, since 1999. Bass Anglers Invitational Trail, Inc. (B.A.I.T.) was founded in 1999 by the current president, Allen "Bud" DeFoe. Doug Nickels joined B.A.I.T. as national director in 2001, and later became its vice president and national director. Nickels fished the Bass Masters Pro Circuit Trail (BASS) and several other major tournament trails. Since coming to B.A.I.T., Nickels tournament experience and business acumen has lead to steady growth. B.A.I.T. divisions are currently in eight southeastern states, e.g., Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. B.A.I.T. is poised to expand its bass fishing team competition trail concept to more states. Expansion will progress to new areas with substantial angler activity/populations, tourism, and local trail inquiries.

The West Texas Team Trail (WTTT) was started to give the average fisherman, their wives, girlfriends, children and friends a team tournament trail that they could enjoy in West Texas. With an average of over 65 boats at each tournament, we have grown to be a great trail, devoted to fish care and comraderie. The diverstiy of the entrants varies from BassMaster Classic qualifiers to the father and son teams.

The “Warriors On the Water” fishing tournament will be a day to say “Thank You” to our men and women in uniform. A day of recognition for our troops and a small way to say thank you! Professional Bass Anglers are paired up with military personnel, fishing the tournament as a team. The event also provides insight to the world of Bass Fishing and also provides soldiers with donated fishing gear, gifts and signed memorabilia from our sponsors.

Fishing For Charities is a bass fishing tournament trail that is devoted to raising money for various charities. Our tournament directors have over 53 years of tournament experience. Our 2010 tournament schedule will run throughout Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee in which all of the proceeds will be donated to a selected charity. We are an up and coming tournament trail that was founded out of our love of fishing and our dedication to help charitable organizations that have personally touched our lives with plans to expand to other needs.

The Texas Bass Couples Tournament Trail has enjoyed the last four years and look forward to many more years to come. When we first started the Texas Bass Couples Tournament Trail we just had three regions, now we have grown to eight regions. Ending our fifth year with over two hundred and fifty contestants this year and seventy six couples qualified for the 2010 Championship tournament. These eight regions cover the biggest part of Texas while fishing some of the best bass lakes in the country. We welcome new couples to come and join the Texas Bass Couples Tournament Trail and start fishing with the best couples in the great state of Texas.

Indiana Slab Masters was born from a group of men who love to crappie tournament fish but noticed that some of the larger Crappie Tournament Circuits were bypassing Indiana waters. We are excited to announce that we finally have a Crappie Club in Central Indiana that will provide a solution for Central Indiana Crappie anglers who want to compete in a friendly club environment. This club will not only feature competitive crappie fishing, but also sharing times during events and club meetings to discuss things like techniques, areas of the lakes we fish, and interesting things like colors, bait size, artificial versus live bait, and other helpful facts.

Crappie Anglers of Texas (CAT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of crappie fishing. With over 300 members nationwide, CAT has been instrumental in gaining national attention for crappie fishing in Texas and continues to develop its member's knowledge of crappie fishing through educational meetings, seminars and fishing tournaments. All CAT tournaments pay back at least 100% of the anglers' entry fees.

The Almost-Annual New York State Crappie was started in 1974 to introduce local ice anglers to a new “fishin’ hole” in the Southern Tier of New York. This lake is a flood control reservoir that was created in the early 1960’s. It event started small but has grown from a purse of $150 to over $15,000 and participants from 300 to over 2,000 from all over NYS and other neighboring states.

To promote responsible use of public waters, and help protect our rights to enjoy our sport. To bring together people who enjoy the common sport of fishing. We are the most affordable Catfish tournament trail in Texas. Additionally we have teamed up with Cabela’s King Kat Tournament trail. What this means is that any team that places 1st or 2nd at one of our tournaments, can qualify to fish the Cabela’s King Cat Classic.

Kansas City Catfish was founded in 2007 and our main function is to organize, promote, and run catfishing Tournaments in the Midwest. We also serve to educate interested parties on fishing, safe boating and river navigation, and responsible use of our outdoor resources, including catch and release and selective harvest. KCC works with local and state wildlife authorities to promote a conservation minded approach to the outdoors. We are also beginning to partner with local communities in bringing fishing tournaments to their area. This has been a very successful way of injecting some new business into their local economy, as well as allowing KCC to provide an entertaining and profitable tournament experience for all participants. We have experienced significant growth since our founding and hope to continue that growth in the future.

The Indiana Catfish Association is a civic, fraternal and charitable organization. We are a 501(c)(7) not for profit organization. The ICA is an amateur fishing club founded in 1999 to be an organization with goals for better fishery management, setting daily bag and size limits, stocking programs, catch and release research, education and to provide its members with an opportunity to fish with Indiana's finest catfish anglers.

Musky and Northern Pike Fishing Tournaments

The Illinois Muskie Trail is uniquely set up through the cooperation of existing Muskie clubs throughout the State. Each club, hosting it's own tournament as it deems appropriate. The host club of a qualifying tournament has ownership with the tour by having a representative set on the board of directors of the tour and by forwarding one dollar per entry in their tournament to the Trail for expense purposes. There are two primary goals for the Trail and the State Championship: 1) To promote interaction and camaraderie among Muskie fishermen in the State of Illinois. 2) To assist the maintaining and improving of Muskie fishery in Illinois by donating all income from the tour/tournament to the Illinois Muskie Alliance and the Illinois Conservation Foundation for these ends.

Carp Fishing Tournaments
Catch-and-Release Professional Tournament Series or, CARP Tournament Series is based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and is under the direction of David Moore. Moore is considered a carp angling visionary in North America and the foremost authority on carp angling in the United States. He is a world-class carp angler – competing around the globe – and a founding director of the American Carp Society. CARP Tournament Series is dedicated to catch-and-release carp angling through the promotion of pro-level tournaments which exemplify good sportsmanship, sound environmentalism, stewardship of our lands and waters as well as education of the sport by sanctioning and promoting professional tournament circuits for the catch-and-release carp angler throughout the U.S. and North America in the coming years.

The Ottawa Region Walleye League is a club established to promote walleye fishing in the Ottawa area. The club supports walleye fishing in a club competitive environment. We have a 8 event competition series for club trophies in three categories, Boater, Non-Boater and Junior. Ethical fishing practices are a key club mandate, Catch, Record and Release procedures (CRR) are encouraged at all club events. In our Mission Statement the ORWL has stated that a part of our mission is to promote and encourage conservation. We do that through various methods and behaviors, Catch, Record and Release (CRR) is practiced at all our events. We are just completing our second year as a Walleye Fishing Club.

The Fishing Challenge on June 4, on Gull Lake, near Brainerd, MN, is a multi-species fun tournament for all ages and all skill levels. It features a low entry fee ($100 per two-person team), plenty of great merchandise and resort and guided fishing trips as prizes, while asking each team to raise a minimum of $500 for MN Teen Challenge. All donations from church family, relatives, businesses, neighbors, co-workers, etc., are tax deductible. The fund-raising has been relatively easy, and we provide materials to make it so. Each team has raised approximately $1,000 each of the past few years.
